I'm a college student who is in desperate need for in internship in my field (information technology). I need 400 hours or I can't graduate. I am having a hard time because I have no experience. Please help. Any information would be helpful.

How tough is it to break into Private Banks (Europe) in an investment role out of undergrad? I have relevant internship experiences (IR, Family Office and PE), and I am at a top business school, but I can't even get 1st rounds at JPM PB, Citi PB, GS PWM, or the Swiss ones. Is it better to work in other institutions as an investor or in a family office and try to join later as a more experienced analyst, or do a Masters and try again in the next years?

As a senior about to graduate, I have been applying to jobs and searching for a position. Sadly, the last couple of months I’ve had no luck. With my 3 years experience as Marketing Intern has given me a lot of experience and skills. The jobs who decline my applications have informed me that I don’t fit the description and the necessity’s for the position, though I match the descriptions they provided. How do you stay motivate and keep looking when you feel burnt out? Any advice outside that?

I worked abroad as an intern during the summer of 06 in an African country. My assignment was to work with the local Government on corporate partnerships to help with water conservation. I didn't see the final outcome by the time I left. I later found out my efforts were reworked which led to a private company drying up most of the local community wells and loading stores with bottled water at a cost. I still think about it til this day, especially the friends I met who lived in the villages.
