I'm a complete introvert and not great at public speaking. Can anyone advise how to improve? Would studying for an MBA help (due to networking, courses, etc.)?

Practice, practice, practice. The only way to really master a skill is to practice. You just have to take the time and make opportunities for public speaking.

Maybe by holding lunch & learns with a small group you trust or giving presentations to friends and family just to get comfortable with all eyes on you.

Thanks, definitely will look into those! Really appreciate the helpful advices

Psych yourself up before a presentation. Tell yourself "I'm the expert. They want to hear me tell them what they should do. I'm in control." If humor doesn't come naturally to you, probably steer clear of it. Just dive head first into the deep end of your topic. Stick to topics you are familiar with and know backwards and forwards. If you have a Q&A afterward, don't be afraid to pass on a question you don't have an immediate answer to. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt." Just say, "That's a good question. Let me do a little research on that and get back to you." Trust yourself. Believe in yourself. You'll do fine. Just remember, regardless of what happens, the sun will come up in the morning and this old world will keep on spinning.

That's really helpful, especially the last point. Thank you!

Join Toastmasters. It's a fantastic organization specifically designed to help people improve their public speaking and leadership skills. The supportive environment and structured programs can make a big difference.

Coming back after a month, these were exceptionally helpful advices and made a huge difference (especially Toastmasters). Thanks all!

Hi all,
Need an advice. I am confused between doing masters or learn tech stack and increase experience and salary.
*My primary goal is to earn more.*
If masters I have to do in US or UK, so GRE, GMAT.
If for learning and tech experience I can learn tech stacks.
But I am confused between this.
Could you please tell or suggest what would be a better choice? Is doing masters in US or UK is a better ROI or be in India and gain exp and earn more by switching?

I’m feeling down. 😢 After 3 failed IVFs with the last one ending in a chemical pregnancy I sought the opinion of a second fertility doctor. She said given my age of 45, my husband and I had the same chances of getting pregnant with another round of IVF with my own eggs as I would naturally and wouldn’t move forward with IVF, only with egg donor. My AMH is 2.6 and FSH was 7.4 just this past month. Should I ignore her and seek a third opinion? Not quite ready to go down the egg donor route yet.

Black Friday comes early this year…my portfolio is on sale!! ☠️
