In the past I would use Brightscope to search companies 401k ratings. They have since been acquired by ISS and they no longer offer this information publicly. I am interested in seeing details about your company.
(1) 401k plan provider
(2) company match
(3) option to purchase additional PTO
For example, at my company GDIT
(1) Fidelity
(2) 100% match up to 3% of your salary, then 50% match for the next 3%, making a total of 4.5% of your salary
(3) yes, up to 40 additional hrs

Nah. Just say “appreciated working with you, and hope our paths cross again.”
Maybe also see if they're on LinkedIn and try and stay in touch
Same as above and adding that OC sounds like a good mentor material.
Pro
OC sounds like the type of person that you could try to stay in touch with and grab coffee or drinks with at some point in the future. I’d just add OC on LinkedIn or something and make a point to say hello at bar events (assuming you’re in the same location). These are generally the type of people you can network with and they can help you out later in your career.
For now though, just follow A1’s advice.
Frankly, I've done this a number of times. A phone call, thanking the attorney for being kind and thanking them for their professionalism is fine. In smaller markets, where life is less cut throat and most lawyers know each other, sending a brief handwritten note thanking them for their professionalism would be appropriate. Sounds like someone you might even want to call for future advice or seek out at a local bar function to be sociable.

Wow, this is so wonderful to hear! Please do let OC know their kindness is appreciated. We need to do all we can to encourage people like this.
Something short and sweet like A1 suggested is perfect. Do keep in touch, though. My husband had a similar experience when he was starting out, and that attorney became a great mentor, supporter, and eventually friend for 30 years!
I do this with associates who were really nice to work with on a one off when emailing on a matter towards the end of a deal, like “thank you for xyz. By the way it’s been great to work with you, thank you for being so easy to work with” or the like. I’ve had another associate email me and ask to keep in touch/get a drink after a deal and I thought it was a nice gesture. 100% agree with A1 and everyone else’s advice to keep in contact with that person. It’s these sorts of people that you want to foster relationships with.
Depends on the jurisdiction. If it’s small and you’ll likely see them again then definitely, yes. I practice in a jurisdiction so small it’s known for its own way of practice…. This would be appropriate and possibly expected where I practice and would help in the future when dealing with that person.
That aside though — I say go for it regardless, they’ll appreciate it and it can’t hurt.
