I'm a Gen Xer and relatively new to the workplace. Serious question: What were meetings like pre-COVID when they were in person. Like is it humanely impossible to have back-to-back meetings in person like this?

You used to run between conference rooms a lot. And would try to leave meetings a little early or might get to meetings late.

That's not healthy!

Honestly not that much different. Only thing I can remember is that walking into a meeting late was a LOT more awkward then just jumping on a zoom call a few minutes late.

like

Most meetings would just start 2 mins late to allow folks running from another meeting. It’s weird to have meetings start on time tbh.

Do you prefer in-person meetings to Zoom?

I cannot believe this is a real question. Are you Gen Z? Because unless you've only been in the workforce a year there were still in person meetings.

Thanks PWC, some people forget the workforce that enables them to be successful!

I may not have alwsys been invited to meetings (like when I was an intern), but I knew what they were and that people were always running to them,or flying to a different city to have them.

It is not humane but it is possible.

NDAs for Nannies? I was wondering how everyone who is doing some work from home during covid handles in-house caregivers? Obviously we all take all steps to protect confidential information and realistically a caregiver isn't going to be exposed to anything we do, but does anyone require an NDA just to be on the safe side? (I dont have an in home caregiver yet, but just thinking about it.)

My manager has always been one to micromanage. For the past two years I've been experiencing bad anxiety attacks brought on by the COVID pandemic, however with the recent developments in Ukraine and Russia, my anxiety has been through the roof. Logistics is hard enough, but now it's even worse, because not only am I struggling with my manager and the shortages/delays of merch, but now I'm also dealing with my mental health. For anyone who travels a lot for work, what advice would you have?
