Reading every day for 30 minutes. Social media has wired our brains to search for constant dopamine rewards, thus lowering our attention spans. Do not become a slave to your phones/tv. Make sure you can discipline yourself

Investing every paycheck. I started investing when I was 22, and put a few hundred into a investing account. I wasn't making much back then, but I invested every paycheck.
Fast forward, I am 24 now, and my non retirement account is worth over 65k. Not too shabby for 2 years. I still invest every paycheck.

Get up at the same time everyday. Even on weekends. Even if it means getting up to pee and take the dog out and going back to bed.
And leave that fatty dressing off your salad.
The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg is great. I'm trying to make leaving my phone in another room before bed a habit
Set goals small! For example, I used to go all in when it came to going on a health kick (strict diet, exercise every single day) and I always fell off the wagon bc it was just too much to sustain. I now think it’s a lot better to just take it slow build up to that point. Made a deal with myself to ride the peloton 3x a week. It’s small but it’s something, and unlike before, I don’t feel like a failure when I miss a day. Plus if I ride more than 3x a week, I feel even better!

That contradicts my habit of never getting up at 5:30am. A habit that I would like to keep. 😅
I’ve adopted a legitimate self-care routine in the AM and PM. It’s a combined 10mins out of the day that has had a huge impact on how I feel and how my skin looks.

Wife made me read the Small BIG book. It’a all about small changes that you can make to change yourself and influence others. Quite useful IMO
-Clean my desktop and desk, and shut down my computer every Friday evening (even if I need to start it back up on Saturday)
-Skincare routines every AM and PM
-Dinner/quality time with hubs is non-negotiable, no-work time
reading something meaningful everyday (not like clickbait life hacks 2021).

Drinking more water
Getting outdoors with some movement every day
Removing most processed sugar from diet
Also getting outside daily for me, right now over lunch. It's amazing how fresh air (and hopefully sun) help destress and decompress.
