Next company joining date is 7jan2022, but current company last working day is 31jan2022.

I want to join Next company anyhow, but that is not ready to wait till 31jan2022..
Tried to convince current company but they are not ready to release until 31jan2022.
1. I'm thinking to convince Next company again to let me get into Next company. how to convince them if they are not ready to wait.
2. Otherwise What would be there if I leave current company straightaway?

In 2-3 yrs, I'll be faced with decision to continue pursuing career in consulting while helping grow family business on the side (~16 hr workdays) or quit consulting and go 100% with the biz. WWYD?

There’s nothing like waking up to a call on August 1 from my district coordinator telling me that they want to move me from my middle school resource room SpEd position (which I love) to K-5 Setting 3 SpEd position. I told her all the reasons that won’t work for me and even gave her another idea that would require a non-licensed teacher to be moved so I could take her place at the hs. So, I’ll be spending my Monday applying for a new job in another district. How’s your Monday going so far? 😭😔

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. Is it wrong for me to expect either a promotion or to be paid to train this person?

I’m getting ready to start my FT position as a HUC (Health Unit Coordinator) in Labor and Delivery. I know it will be a while before I do anything of the sort, or IF I do anything of the sort. Hi everyone, I am 4 days into my IUI process. I also recently found out that my UTI was not a UTI but instead Ureaplasma. My husband also tested positive.
We are waiting to hear back from the fertility specialist but I wanted to see if anyone has had this experience, or any knowledge. I’m nervous that the antibiotics will affect my ability to conceive, but just as nervous ureaplasma will make it difficult as well. I can wait until next month and start over but I really don’t want to. Any advice
