I need some insight. Just had a phone interview for a management job in healthcare. I felt comfortable and felt like the interview went well. I ask questions and the ACNO said that I asked great questions. They said that they had other interviews to do as well but said the next step is to bring me in for an on-site interview (I live 1,000 miles away) and that the recruiter would be reaching out. Thoughts? I’m going to drive myself crazy analyzing everything.

My senior associate takes 1 week to get back to me with comments and then tells me that I need to turn the document asap. This has happened several times already and I’ve had to pull all nighters to meet these insane deadlines when it’s clear that they just waited until the very last minute to get back to me… any advice? How many matters is typical for one associate to handle (BL lit)? I know it is group-specific, but just trying to get a general idea. I’m a 2nd year and I am the only associate staffed on about 30 cases-meaning I keep track of all deadlines, do all day to day assignments, keep on top of following up with client/OC, and all research/drafting. Partners handle deps/court but that is about it. Is this a normal case load to be responsible for as a jr? I being dramatic by thinking this is too much?
