Yes, but you must be clear in the interview that you will decline a manager level offer. The recruiters often come up with stories like "we will bring you in at manager to make the transition easier and then after a year, all being well we will step you up to SM." Don't fall for that.
Long story short, it all depends on your comp. If you're making minimum 80-85 base, then yes.
You will have immediate sales targets as an SM, that's why they may suggest coming in as an M. You're joining ACN without a network of contacts at clients and without a pyramid of ACN team to deliver. We're entering a contraction phase in UKI and redundancies (as done in 2020) were purely a numbers game.
Just be careful if you really want to come into an SM role for the compensation.
Just be aware titles aren’t everything. You may be far better off financially coming in as a Manager and performing extremely well - the bonus could outweigh the salary increase. You’d then be promoted in a short period but have the network and understanding to feel easily capable of managing a Senior Manager role. Also, an SM at Accenture isn’t quite the equivalent to an SM at the Big 4 (I’m ex Big 4 also). There’s no set Director level, so you go straight from SM to MD (Partner equivalent) meaning SM expectations are extremely high.
