Market bottomed yesterday. Thoughts?
I'm the worst at accepting compliments.
I'm interning at KPMG's deal advisory for 6 months. I'm doing pretty good, they wanted to extend my internship period till my graduation and I can conduct valuation projects on my own. They don't assign analysts to my projects so that I can work like an analyst. however.. I'm uncomfortable with the new analysts who know nothing about the job ordering me all the day. I'm not graduated yet but is there any way to promote now?
6 week cram sesh for CFP. Any recommendations?

Yikes! Yeah those clients are what he didn’t want to begin with... but you’ll get the office assuming you’re meeting expectations, and you’ll come in every morning for the next 3 months to a green screen full of ACAT out messages
Congratulations!! Get ready to work for 18 hours a day for the next few months... it’s a lot easier to keep a client than it is to get a new one. You’re going to lose a bunch, but you’ll keep a bunch too.. just be bold and ask them try you out for six months to a year. If they stay that long, you’ll keep them. Good luck!
Also, nice work on the asset gathering during your first months..
Leaving the firm and going to a competitor. Has anyone had experience with this? Are they going to take the goodknight clients from me? Are they going to let me have the office? Or bring someone else in. I’ve brought in 2 mil my first 3
months but don’t know how the region is going to handle it.
He gave you the assets because he didn’t want them. He won’t be trying to steal them. You likely will get the office and have a bloody battle to try and retain 20% of the clients. Good luck.
How long was he at EJ?
