I am looking to move more into Change/Project Management or Director of People Operations roles. I have been at the application game now for two months with only two interviews and over 20 applications sent out each week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Feeing a little defeated over here. Thank you!
My project is requiring a lot of time commitment during early hours and evening and it’s getting hard to pick up LO from day care. I wanted advise frm ppl who have hired help for pick/drop off.
Anyone have managers / leadership (non consulting) who seems disengaged? We all hate micro managers, but on the other side of the spectrum my manager signs on at 10am, doesn’t respond to requests for input, takes a ton of PTO yet still is angry that my project is on fire and gives me tons of extra work, it makes me feel very demotivated - why should I kill myself and work hard if they don’t give a shit, just makes me feel dumb for putting in effort.
Im a recent grad on a tech implementation project for a small firm. I’m finding it challenging because I’m expected to know how to solution a user problem based on the system that I really don’t know all the ins and outs of. I enjoy the req gathering/PMO activities, but thinking of data mapping and integrations is such a new way of thinking than a typical strategy-based case study. Do strategy ppl find these tech implementation difficult?
I did an Audit internship and got an offer, but absolutely hated my internship experience. Should I reach out to other recruiters at other firms/cities?

What’s a standard Sr Content Producer salary in NYC for someone with 8yrs experience (3yrs as Sr Producer)?
Hi everyone! For those that feel comfortable, would love to see the breakdown AFC > eggs retrieved > fertilized > embryo > genetically normal (please feel free to include other steps, add in more numbers/details). I've read the averages of how it gets narrowed down, but always prefer hearing real breakdowns. I'm in the process of my first egg retrieval and trying to stay realistic. Really appreciate it!
Just had a great Zoom breakout room chat with a Bain Consultant who’s an alum the b-school I’m attending (Experience Bain). Asked a couple questions and really enjoyed the convo. Ok to connect on LinkedIn?
MD or MBA? I got into both. I know most will say choose the MD, but hear me out: MD: I'd have to go into a specialty to have a good IRR given my salary & the $200K+ debt. By the time I'd be done with residency the US may be in a single payer system. US doctors make 3x the amount in France and 2x vs UK.. I currently make what a doctor makes in France. That could be the future here, too. MBA: 1 yr. Europe. I'd make about 15-20% more vs. now.
I’m a 2017 associate in NYC biglaw. I logged approx. 2300 billable hours in 2019. Is that light, normal or heavy in the biglaw market for RE associates at my level? Thanks in advance for thoughts.
