I’m a new special education teacher. How do you balance such a wide variety of needs in your classroom/keep track of services students receive?

TeachersPayTeachers.com has so many great resources for this! It helps to have documents that work for you, then use them. I know that sounds simplified, but it really is a life saver because there is no way to remember all the things you do for each child that work (or don't work) each day unless it's on paper.

Create a “Where am I?” sign in/out to put by the door when the students leave your classroom for their various services (OT, PT, Speech, etc.). Also, think about creating Google Docs to take anecdotal records every time you work with the child. If you have paras, give them access to those Google Docs so they can write what they observed when working with the child as well.

I was a captain of my team in college for football but I used to do gymnastics when I was younger.

I felt way better competing in football when I was injured (played w broken ribs) than when I was doing gymnastics and had to do flips.

The psychological feeling of doing flips and contorting my body through the air was way scarier than football.

Is it really that impossible to live in NYC, alone, on a salary in the 50-55k range?? I know COL and rent is pricey but I’m 100% remote and budgeting 1.6-1.9k apts in decent Manhattan neighborhoods I’ve found on StreetEasy.
I’m currently in atl, so I know that (overall) living here is cheaper, but I’m faced with having to get a new car and I feel that having that added expense (down payment+car note+insurance+maintenance) essentially balances me out w/ ny expenses and I’d much rather be in ny.

Hi all, I have been offer a position in @JPMC last week but the joining date given in offer letter is of before end of my notice period. I've dropped an email to HR for clarification/correction, but they are not responding. And today I got auto-generated email that my offer is expiring today. HR hasn't shared any mobile number, only office landline, which they aren't picking. Please suggest.

So I’m on track to get promoted to Lead Associate at Booz Allen in July; however, Deloitte reached out to me to interview for a position within Tech Strategy. I received very positive feedback from my interview, but I was offered senior consultant instead of manager. Salary wise, I would be making a little bit more, but what I’m more concerned with is the backwards move in title. Is it customary for experienced A or entry LA at Booz Allen or similar firms to come into Deloitte below manager?
