The opinion piece you posted said nothing about Hillary arming the rebels but, regardless, the majority of civilians killed in Syria have been killed by the Assad regime and his Russian backers. And before you accuse me of just watching MSNBC I get my news from various sources including those with reporters on the ground.

And "US-involved," what does that even mean? Having an opinion? We've just about completely stayed out of Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, and Yemen - Libya, for what it's worth, has suffered far fewer casualties than Syria.

Further, US intelligence services across the board are attributing the attacks on Democrats to Russia, it's not the Clinton campaign.

"Corrupt piece of shit"? You mean your scumbag Trump isn't? With his illegally operated foundation and his use of illegal labor you must certainly not be comparing him to Clinton.

I think everyone is divided because we put different issues at different priority levels. For some people, gender equality is more important than international affairs, and vice versa. There is no denying that trump is racist and sexist and that Hillary has too many secrets and lies to keep track of, but there is no point in hating one another for having different priorities and viewpoints. I personally don't know who to vote for yet because I don't know where my priorities lie. As a woman I can't stand the idea of voting for trump, but I am so weary about what Hillz would do internationally (and how we probably wouldn't even know he shady stuff she would do). I think my top priority might be our national economy. We are so far in debt and really need someone with a sound economic mind to run this country. That's just my opinion of the moment though. Honestly might not even vote

And do you think trump might be? I think neither is THE answer, but really there is no one person that would ever be the answer. Hillary will be a much more stable leader and will get some productive things done while in office. With Trump I think it could either be an OK presidency or completely horrific. I don't see the latter happening with Hill Dawg in office.

Voting for Donald Trump. When push comes to shove, I probably couldn't let myself do it because of the hateful floodgates it would open for future election cycles but.... Hillary Clinton is not the answer. And I know that with 100% certainty. Fuck

Left leaning but considering Trump? Trump is not equipped, period. It's more than just oh he might do OK. Not even his own party likes him. He is ignorant to the world, he is ignorant to the people of his whole country. His businesses fail although people live to call him successful. His thoughts are not left leaning, his policies are not left leaning, his party is not left leaning so how can you small consider voting for him. Regardless of Hillary the person, what Trump represents is far from anything left.

D2 - You're right. None of Obama's proposals were implemented. Except maybe: Affordable Care Act, Dodd-Frank, repeal of don't ask don't tell, normalizing relations with Cuba.

Uhhh lol that's common knowledge, didn't think you'd need a piece to tell you she armed the rebels but here you go: https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/hillary-clinton-history-with-arming-syrian-rebels/?client=safari

As for US-involved... obviously it means involvement by the US? Wtf? Civil wars in other countries are none of our business. Here's a full list for you of countries we have wasted money on, funny you left out the absolute disastrous Iraq: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change

Regarding wikileaks, it literally is only the Clinton camp that is blaming these leaks on Russia with 100% certainty. The intelligence agencies aren't positive. They say they think it has the "signs" of being a Russian job but have not been able to confirm anything. https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/789629720509939712

Once again, Hillary supporters playing mental gymnastics in an effort to spin her shortcomings back on Trump. Nice Strawman fallacy, but I wasn't discussing the character of Trump. I was discussing the corruption of Clinton. But last time I checked,Trump isn't a politician who is taking millions of dollars from foreign governments that Hillary admits funds ISIS. All these foreign governments donating huge sums of money are expecting something in return. Clinton Foundation is currently under investigation from the FBI, not just her emails or Anthony Weiner.

You are clearly so ignorant when it comes to foreign affairs and this election. Please step out of your echo chamber or at least pretend to be informed

The most disastrous thing for this country and world is war with Russia. Hillary is openly hostile to Russia and has no intentions of making those relations better. If you vote Hillary, I hope you are registered for the draft.

@D3, I think it's really strange we get our panties in a wad over Russia meddling in international affairs - that's EXACTLY what we do. Even with this current nonsense with them possibly leaking emails, must I remind you that audio just surfaced this week of Hillary stating we should have rigged a Palestinian election?? So hypocritical. I guess being the world's police is only ok if you're America

So just because someone is anti-corruption, anti-war they are automatically racist or sexist? What a ridiculous, [ironically] bigoted assumption. I'm actually voting for a third party candidate who best represents my views, but I can recognize Clinton would be more disastrous than Trump. I'm a female, minority, and daughter of immigrants, but I can have my own opinions without jumping on the delusional I'm With Her bandwagon, thanks. Some Americans don't want a president who's under investigation by the FBI for 1) being reckless with classified info and 2) having a charity that increasingly reeks of pay to play. To assume that everyone who speaks out against Clinton is racist or sexist is like assuming everyone who speaks out against Trump condones warmongering, public corruption, and proven political incompetence.

You're kidding... right? How is that damning? The article explicitly states it was legal at the time. He had smart accountants and used loopholes and deductions that were available. I don't know about you but I sure as hell take advantage of every credit, deduction, loss, etc. and you're kidding yourself if you think our firms don't do the same thing. As for avoiding taxes for upcoming years, that's called a capital loss carry-over. Any smart American who values their money uses it to offset capital gains and ordinary income. If politicians don't like it, they can change it... but they won't because they all use it. This piece reads like a diversionary tactic only to serve the HRC echo chamber.

At the end of the day, only one candidate is under federal CRIMINAL investigation for her illicit server, her charity foundation, and the wrongdoings of her staff. The other is not.

"Openly hostile"? What are you talking about? Because she says that there is a humanitarian crisis in Syria that Russia is exacerbating or because she says that Russia's invasion of NATO countries will not be tolerated?

like

Wow it's honestly concerning that some of you would be ok with a war with Russia, a country that has nuclear weapons and is allied with China more than we are. What would it take for me to be ok with going to war with Russia? They would have to directly bomb us on American soil, which they are not doing. Stop with the unnecessary fear mongering. The Cold War is over and I would much rather be friendly with Russia than nuked by it

like

Lol! Only one piece I posted was an opinion piece and the opinion was that we are being mislead on what's going on in Syria - based on FACTS that the rebels are not the angels we Westerners think they are. The second piece I posted was not an opinion piece, but a factual story covering Clinton's opinions on arming the rebels... which I only provided because you apparently had no idea it even happened. And on that note, I don't care what you majored in in school if you were so ignorant you didn't even know the extent of our involvement with the Syrian crisis. The extent of our involvement doesn't need a "consensus" when it's fact that we armed the rebels, and now many of the arms are falling into the wrong hands.

Re: Trump, that's actually not true. Fact checkers like to point to an interview where he said "I guess so." That doesn't sound like solid support to me, and on a subsequent interview he said we should get all the facts first. The point is also that a Hillary presidency would without a doubt be laden with unnecessary foreign interventions because she is a warmonger who doesn't learn from her mistakes.

Re: foreign intervention, bad shit is going to happen whether or not we decide to get involved. So we get rid of Assad... what's next? A new regime that is just as unstable? I don't see the point of wasting money or American lives in a useless attempt at trying to make things better.

And in reference to that WSJ article, Clapper was quoting Obama... who is literally in the Clinton camp spending his days campaigning for her. The official analysis is that the hacking may show signs of Russian involvement, but we cannot say with certainty. And ONCE AGAIN, you have failed to address the argument at hand that the emails have revealed some very damning things about Clinton. Regardless of who is behind these leaks, I'm glad they're exposing the corruption in our government. Maybe if Hillary had an honest bone in her body, wikileaks wouldn't be an issue.
