I'm a project engineer for a managed services company. I've been with the parent company for 15 years before moving to the subsidiary for a more technical position with better pay. Only woman on my team. Am I underpaid for my position at $74k in the deep south?

With 15 yoe, very likely underpaid.

Share more details on your industry, tech tools, and role. Your salary could not be way off base if you live in some very low cost area. But I'd say $90k is more fair.

If you were able to get in with some prolific public company, up to $200k or more is possible.

Depends on what you know and how well you market yourself / interview.

I’d say yes. Look up salaries for your company on Glassdoor. I manage a technical team in Canada and I’d definitely be paying you more if you have 15 years experience.

Consider the area you're based in, whether its high, medium, or low cost of living, and factor that in, but Id agree - for a technical engineering role with 15yoe, $74k sounds generally lower than what Id expect to see.

Yes, 14 year MSP veteran here. (No more) All of them severely underpay. My advice is look for another job outside the MSP realm. You should be closer to 100k with 15 years experience

Thoughts on wolf vs diplomat watch winders? I see discussions in this bowl about wolf brand. I'm thinking of buying one for my husband for father's day from our babies, and I can have the diplomat one engraved with his initials. Is wolf really better for the watch though? I've gotten him two nice watches over the years (Breitling and Mont Blanc). He used to wear one daily, but his company won't move back to the office until 2022 so don't want the mechanisms to get messed up.

So I've been applying for jobs with various brands who are owned by the same parent company. They are all separate brands but owned by the same company. AWS-SAA question (newbie): I know AWS account is a root account & by default gives user access/permissions to all the AWS services. You need to have an aws account first to then create IAM users to define who they are, permission groups they’re in, and the level of access/permissions they have to a bucket/object for example. So....when the IAM users are added, do they receive a notification with the url to access the environment? Do they need an aws account as well? Confused on difference

Also, does anybody know if Google Dublin pays for the on call?
