Does novartis paused hiring ? I have completed all my rounds and have been waiting for an offer to roll out. But the recruitment team is saying hiring is on hold as review meetings are going we don't know when they will start it. Does anyone know when will they resume hiring process again.

Pretty much the same exits you'd get if you were in commercial with your same skillset.
Your skills and experience are what make the difference, and about 90% of what you do in the public sector is directly applicable to commercial and industry.
If you're able to craft your resume and messaging well, it isn't significantly harder to exit public sector than commercial.
Start-ups and any half-decent big tech company like AWS, MSFT, or VMware need good tech talent that's experienced/willing to work with federal customers.
Product Management is an interesting route, I got a few hits and actually an offer from a big A/B testing company from browsing the Opportunities board on the Product School Slack group
Not much if you’re not technical. Within government you can get stuff but it’ll pay less than consulting and that’s not really an option when you’re under 6 figures already. Switch to commercial ASAP and unless you want to be in the public sector for life.
Lol you can exit to commercial jobs from GPS
People in this thread- what do you mean when you say technical? Very broad term. Are we talking about tech implementation? Coding? Just something in your toolkit besides excel?
In my context (RE: my answer in a reply to a comment above), I'm a data scientist. Coding, machine learning R&D, package development, etc. So that's my frame of reference.
