D1, I think it's the technical word for configure. OP, that's unfortunate, I haven't heard of S&O employees working on tech implementations before. That would be super challenging, given they require completely different skill sets.

Currently at Deloitte with 1 year exp, just received an offer to join mbb. I want to exit consulting to work in media and entertainment - Disney, Sony music, umg, etc. Does mbb exit better into this area or will I be able to exit there with Deloitte? Has anyone had a similar experience? I work at a public charter and basically all the first instructors and students were recruited. It even happened to me in a public school where I was recruited from another district with ten other teachers, taken out to dinner and acknowledged. When you treat teachers like that you get very positive results and amazing energy and cooperation among the group. Why some businesses excel over others.

How do I move forward? I started in IT audit and hated it, moved to tech consulting within my firm. Still do not enjoy the work at the firm, even in the new group. Not much feels different for me. Previously I was very interested in cyber, and was up skilling in relevant areas for cyber. However, I’ve recently lost my motivation to study for cyber. As a 1st year, would you leave your firm to take a lower paying job that offered more training and mentorship? I've been at my firm for several months but I don't feel comfortable there for many reasons and I'm not getting the training or billables promised. I've been offered a salaried job that's less than what I was promised (but not getting) at my current firm but is promising more mentorship and a more open environment. I have a feeling the mentorship will pay off in the long run. Thoughts?
