I had a technical interview with IBM last wednesday and on thursday they had set up a managerial round for discussion. It went well and the manager asked me about my expectations. We had few discussion regarding the salary and finally I was told that HR will get back to me. It has been 4 days but I didn't receive any call from the HR. Should I consider the fact that they might have rejected me even after all those discussions ? Shouldn't the HR atleast have a discussion ? IBM Tata Consultancy

I think it all depends on where you're located as far as what jobs are available in clinical research; I'm seeing a few listed on the east and west coasts but nothing in between. When applying for those types of jobs, I'd probably leave the retail stuff off of your resume since that's unrelated to what you're going for. Good luck in your job search :)
Hi, I graduated 2021 September with barely any previous experience (only research project). I started off with CTA intern then moved to CTA and then CRA , all these happened within a year. So heads up! Don’t give up, I have many colleagues who are kinda fresh graduates too. Id say get whatever experience you can have at the moment (in clinical trial not retail), chances are you will get in the field soon!
What company do you work for that allowed you to move up from CTA to CRA so fast? I’m looking to break into the CRO/sponsor side and willing to start entry level
I would suggest having your resume proffesionally optimized. Sometimes a couple changes are all you need to get interviews and land a role.
Have you looked at their Careers page? They are hiring for summer associates at its LA location (geared towards Class of 2024 students) and have about 35 other positions available. Here's the link to its LA jobs: https://hl.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External?locations=979d930e2eac0100f4fbd5335d820000 I hope you find job that fits your needs.
Sometimes, it is not enough to apply. You must go the extra step and chase a job in more ways. It can be by networking or asking for a referral.
Hello there, OP! Have you had anyone take a look at your resume? Many people ask for help with their resumes here on fishbowl all the time. I bet a lot of people here are more than willing to help you tailor your resume better.
I have had my resume professionally looked at a couple of times!
