I’m a Registered Client Service Associate (not senior as my title suggests. Not sure why it changed from just registered CSA) at Morgan Stanley. I have been here about 8 months. I have my 7, 66 and life and health insurance licenses. I make 70k currently. Just wondering if I’m being paid fairly. NYC. note I do get paid separately from the advisors I cover but I want to make sure MS is compensating me fairly.

Yes, that's a fair salary for your experience since you're not a Senior. About the highest I have personally seen is $80k.

$80k salary for senior in NY or where? Im waiting on an offer for a SR reg csa w MS in s fl

That’s about industry average.. other than the fact that if it’s NYC you may want to ask for 75+ but I doubt the firm would stretch past that. How much do you bring in from advisor comp?

Just got a raise from 1/3 of my advisors which brings my total FA comp to about 23k a year

Hi all,

I joined
KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.

Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)

Any inputs will be helpful.

Thanks!

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
