Im a respiratory therapist but want to leave my full.time job to either be part time or PRN because I want to transition to traveling RT. My dept hasn't been the best thus far as my experience and people like to twist words around. Is there a proper way or do I even have to tell them why I'd be change of status?

This transitions seems a bit tricky, but I guess the first step would be updating your resume as per your target position. Try www.prsnbranding. They do a great job with resumes.

I agree with above, start there but it's weird that people are not so receptive to that...

Should I share a job opportunity with my college alumni network if it’s a horrible job? I’m quitting a part time job soon for a tiny nonprofit, it’s extremely unprofessional and disorganized and soul sucking. However a lot of people from my liberal arts college are interested in that field (arts academia/curation/art nonprofits) so it may benefit them somewhat. But I thought the point of sharing jobs with alumni is that they’re vetted for decency/quality. Would love to hear thoughts.
