Unless you’re a third year SA, I doubt you’ll lateral in as a manager, I would make manager and THEN bounce, that’s where you can get some nice money
As an SA, might not be that big. M1 in a T3 city for most risk and tech (non mba) in US starts with a base of 130-135k or so
