Anyone hiring non-pharma acds in Chicago?
OFFER HELP: Currently an L5 PM at Amazon making $80k (I came in as L4 hourly and we all know how tiny the bumps are). Just got an offer from Facebook (Meta) for a program manager role, base is 125k. Can someone help me negotiate when I’m already so blown away by and grateful for this offer? I know I’m supposed to, but given everything that’s going on in the world right now, I know I am IMMENSELY privileged already and it feels so greedy to ask for anything else.

You should apply to automotive SaaS companies like VIN, dealersocket, roadster, etc.
Thank you, that makes perfect sense.
It can be I’ve seen someone gone from tech recruiter to tech sales. Honestly you don’t need certs, tech sales is same as any, ask questions to find pain points and explain how your service will fix this, and be able to close. I would make sure your resume tailors heavy on your sales acumen and put softwares you’re comfortable using( salesforce, dynamics, salesloft, etc) and make sure your LinkedIn shows these things as well
Most job postings seem to want a degree and don’t offer training. you don’t think a cert would get me job ready?
Certs can help but more for technical roles unless it’s like Salesforce or something like that. They help but won’t get you job ready plus tech companies overlook degrees a lot if you’re a good candidate. My company had a lot of training about the service but no training sales wise. If we do have training it’s short bc and you the point. So if you can sell you’ll be fine, if not it’ll be rough.
