I’m a senior 3 working as a senior on my engagements, the same as senior 1s and 2s. Is it bad I am not acting manager? Can I still be promoted this year?

All senior 3s in my office are filling senior roles on their jobs. They should be trying to act like a manager however

If you do not do it, you wont make it

EY 2 what level are you

Our S3 is a senior same as me, an S1. We have an active SM so the S3 doesn't have a ton of room. That being said, our S3 sucks and the partner even doesn't cc him on emails

Senior manager

EY 2 what kind of senior 3 you would think he/she is ready

What is acting manager? I still don't understand what acting manager mean.

Performing manager’s responsibility while getting senior’s paychecks

And having senior 1 and 2s report to you. Basically being a level above them.

OP, I was a S3 on an account with no room to act as Manager, ie, managing people. I did however deliver great work. Got promoted to Manager quite easily.

EY 2 expectation in terms of technical skills?

Be able to find the answer to technical questions

PwC Toronto assurance: being offered a job as a transfer from the US. I’ll be transferring as a senior associate 1 (aka this is my promo year). What should I expect if I were either tier 1 or 2? Trying to minimize the salary reduction…

I am a California teacher looking to relocate. My son is pushing for Boerne. I have spent most of my life in small private Christian schools and loved it! When I moved to public school the large class sizes and trauma/sped students filling my classroom burned me out. I moved to homeschool this year (with my same district) and love it!!! I am curious about teaching in Texas. Class sizes, special ed, private school, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I’m thinking about increasing my wealth but wanted to see what options I have. I don’t know much about stocks. I know real estate is a good way but not sure I have enough money for a second home right now. What other ways do you make extra income? My background is in audit, anything I can do with that in the side?

Do you record your unbillable time? I have had conflicting responses. I have been told it's not good for efficiency calculations but others have told me if your still doing work let people know. For example, I get weird international stuff sometimes that not everyone gets (I think maybe? ) and I need to reread the 5471 rules or 8865 rules as I do the returns. I have been told not to bill for this but if I didn't have to spend time to do such things my billable hours would be higher
