I’m a senior in their last year of earning their bachelors of science in nutrition and exercise science. I’m not interested in being a personal trainer or doing athletic training. I’m trying to get a high paying job in the medical field, something that pays over 70k in salary. I was going to do PT but changed my mind about it. Being a transfer student, my GPA went down to about 2.9. I still have this semester and fall semester to hopefully being it up a little. What careers should I consider?

Please keep in mind that I took all the pre reqs for PT school. Gen bio 1 and 2. Gen chemistry 1 and 2. Organic chemistry. Inorganic chemistry. Anatomy&physiology 1 and 2. Pre calculus. Gen physics 1 and 2.

With these courses, and if you add more in the coming semesters, it sounds like you could go in a research/laboratory direction if you want to.

Are there more specific goals you have other than making money? We could be talking about Physicians Assistant, medical device or pharma sales, RN… I don’t know, could go in so many directions.

I can confirm you don’t want to become an EMT at least. 😅

Tbh idk how you’d make that much in the medical field unless you get further education. Everything requires a masters+ or second degree if you have that bachelors done already. You can go to med school, PA school, get an AA in dental hygienist so many fields but with just nutrition i don’t know what else

I am an Athletic trainer working in PT. Your best and easiest route would be PTA school then you can do a transitional program to DPT at some point if you wish.

Hi! First time working with a larger company - suggestions on handling pronouns at work?

I’ve worked with smaller agencies where it was easier to bring up. Now I’m on a larger team, talking to/referencing people I’ve never met. I’m less concerned about my own pronouns and more concerned about how to make sure I’m using the correct pronouns for the people I work with.

I’ve been structuring sentences to avoid gender specific pronouns but would love to hear suggestions. Thanks!
