Make sure to put this on your LinkedIN and look there too! You want to make sure recruiters or potential referrals can see you and your skills. Goodluck!
@MD1 Do you have any LinkedIn advice? I’ve been sending customized invitations to recruiters detailing my experience and interest in the positions they have open, but I am falling short of getting meaningful replies
That’s great advice! I really wish I had known that soon. Thanks!
I would also suggest networking over on linked in. Many recruiters on there do not respond, however, so it really is a number game. The more feelers you put out the better your chances of hearing back are.
Hi! Have you tried reaching out to recruiters? They can help you with internship programs.
@A1 It really is a numbers game there. I’ve had recruiters reply and then ghost me out of no where. I’ve been changing up my tactics trying to ask them insightful questions into their background but that’s only recent so I haven’t really been able to see if that’s more effective. You’d think it’d be like fish jumping in a boat, but oh well
@CM1 I’ve reached out to several, mostly on LinkedIn or through referrals. Granted, I’ve had some moderate success (a phone call with one recruiter) and I’ve only been actively searching for this week. I know all I need is 1 recruiter out of 100 to reply, but it’s disheartening when no one does
I have some resources published on destinationinternship.com that you can check out! I’m open to answering any specific questions you might have!
