I’m a ServiceNow Developer/Consultant with 2 YOE, but I have not studied.
I have the ITIL and the CSA certification and I’m not coding for my developer role by
Accenture. I live in Germany and earn 45k, I really like the job and I’m good at it but I’m really unhappy with the salary. What do you guys think, is it possible to get more salary at a different company, when yes what do you think how much will the salary increase. I speak fluently German, English and Hindi and I’m 25 years old.

Don’t worry about the degree, none of the decent servicenow people I worked with had one. But 45k seems really low, even our first year analysts start at 55k now. Before you start looking outside, ask for a salary review with HR. If you have good German skills, you are quite valuable to the firm, so they should give you decent raise.

Starting salaries in the United States for Service now development work start at 75k ish over here to 130k ish I’ve seen

like

When you say you have not studied , means you don’t have a bachelor ?
Germans weigh a lot on what kind of education and degrees you have. I will say since you are young get a bachelors degree Atleast. And your salary will fly.

Add CSA + CAD certification in your arsenal this will increase your value.

Improve your development skills learn from experts you have so many resources I don’t have name.

I would recommend you take code academy jabascript course if you want to learn JS .

Work on developement projects in servicenow.

Hope this will help

Thanks,

After a long interview process, I had to decline an offer from Amazon. I was really excited, but they wanted to start me as an L4. I already have offers on the table $15,000 more then the possible top compensation an L4 can get.

Makes me sad. Has anyone else been real excited about a possible job and have been low balled?

Hi All,

I have an offer of 6.5 LPA fixed with Accenture (Level 11). Total CTC in Accenture is 7.8 LPA which includes variable pay. I have an offer of 8 LPA fixed with another company. How do you know if/when it's time to switch careers?
My current job has a solid progression to make more money, but it takes years to get there. I make about $70k right now. As a data engineer/analyst. Primarily work on the engineering side, but I went to school for analytics. I never saw myself doing the engineering role, but when I first took it, it was a great start to my career.

I was offered a new position mainly in management in a completely different industry for $100k and bonuses.

Been a project manager for 4 years. Been at my current role for almost 2 years at an e-commerce company. Asked for a raise after absorbing my manager’s role and 2 more teams when she left a year ago. With this I also got left with a major project for the company and launched it successfully just recently. They want me to continue doing both jobs. I was making $73k and asked for $105k. What are people’s thoughts on this?
