I teach for online ESL companies, and this is a great fit. They pay well and you don't have to plan. It's not at all like classroom teaching in that regard. If you have to do it, this is a great option, and the market is booming right now!

I’d worry more about the time it’ll take you away from your kid. I don’t mean to be harsh, but the mental and emotional consequences may not be worth it.

If you really feel that you need an additional job, I would recommend looking into online opportunies in education like teaching ESL. This will allow you to work after your child is in bed but you are still at home and don't have to pay a babysitter. So sad that teachers are not paid well enough.

Yes, but you have to do what’s best. Weigh out the options. Is it more of an advantage or disadvantage... and how bad do you need the extra money. I work two jobs. Stressful? Yes.. but I don’t have to worry about not having the things I need.
