If your overall experience is 2 years, and your current CTC is 65 LPA, unfortunately 90% of the companies will say you are way over budget. The remaining 10% will test you well and then say you are way over budget. đ
I mean how much can you ask? 75? The only companies who MAY give you that are FAANG. That is only if you are the best. Else abroad is the only option aur zyada chahiye toh
Okay again, if you find suitors willing to pay ypu slightly less, then sure! Why not? But see the problem is look at the conversation thats gonna happen initially with an HR before any interview:
HR - what is your current Ctc?
You - 65
HR - we cannot afford you.
You - im willing to settle for less.
HR - how less? Expected ctc?
You - 55.
HR - we still canât afford you given your work ex.
This is one way a conversation might go even before your interview starts
The other is you and the HR arriving at a number which is obviously at the high end of the spectrum. But while you want to acquire ânew skillsâ a company may not pay 45+ lpa only for you to learn new skills. Slim chances but I hope you make it by man. Youâre probably feeling stagnated right now hence yearning for a change.
I think he is trying to say 6.5 lpa and inhand 40
