I'm a straight 25 y/o male and I travel with a small teddy bear that a hotel once left for me because it makes me feel a little less lonely when I come back to my room. Anyone else do this?

No...i honestly just work until i pass out at night when im on the road. That keeps me occupied mentally so i dont end up thinking about what is going on at home

What is the reasoning behind having to note "straight" in your post?!?! 😂😂😂😂 Having a teddy bear doesn't make you gay bro, just a bit childish. 😜

like

This is so adorable

When I'm single I often sleep with a teddy bear 🐻

like

My now husband got flowers and a teddy bear sent to my room the first week I ever traveled for work. That bear has since traveled the world with me.

You sure you're a straight 25 year old?

like

I like to cuddle with the hotel pillows

like

Yeah... so I guess since I'm gay I'm more likely to want to snuggle with a teddy bear? I hate snuggling with anything, besides a pillow.

like

Yea I'm bi and don't sleep with a teddy bear lmao just own it

I've learned how to "be alone" and don't have a problem traveling by myself , but this was a month international with no flyback. So it was a little different than normal

I bring a teddy bear too! It's lonely on the road, don't feel bad about it!

Wanted to know how different is management consulting in the US via-a-vis India?

Background : working as front end consultant in India. Daily routine is opening laptop at 9AM and doing work till 10ish PM, if the project is tight (which it is in majority cases) closing laptop by 1 or 2 am. Travel depends on project. Sr Managers have no sense of personal space in most companies. Money is goood.

Hi team ,

I have started working from jul2019 and I have filed my tax return for 2020 and 2021 tax years.

However I note that there was withholding of some amount in 2017-2018 and 2019 tax years ( withholding from comission received from insurance commission from lic and United india)

I have not filed 2017, 2018, 2019 return as my total income was less than threshold

Is it possible to file return for 2017 , 2018, 2019( all r in refund) now without paying any penalty?

Accepted an offer of employment with a mid-sized firm to begin in a couple of months. I’ve always wanted to shoot for big law but haven’t had the opportunity thus far. Overall, I accepted because I didn’t want to take the opportunity for granted in addition to the uncertainty with hiring due to covid. Would it be an issue to shoot for a big law opportunity in the interim? I know how this looks and sounds, so I definitely don’t want to set a precedent that I deal in bad faith.

I am adamant about financial boundaries; I was taught that men shouldn’t be asking me for money as a lady and I followed this advice. However, in the instance that a partner might have a financial challenge and you sense that because he doesn’t really tell you, is it ok to offer a helping hand without him asking or should you let him communicate his needs and you respond how u can. Thx
