I'm a tax senior and just had the worst interview of my life today. They asked me code sections and implications of certain tax situations (foreign, state, international, affects on firm and owners).

How do you turn down an offer that a recruiter has helped you get after multiple interviews? We had a great connection and they seemed very sincere not pushy. I was working with two recruiters, went through several interviews, and finally deciding on one best suited for my career goals.

I have a product interview coming up and one of the questions is “what is a product you know a lot about , tell me it’s functions, issues, how it can be improved , and market space"

I have cleared technical interview at @EXL and have also given another round of interview with VP.

Q1. How long does the VP round feedback take normally?
Q2. What are the next rounds/discussion to expect if I clear this round?
Q3. What is the level and salary that I should expect for a BI developer role at 6 years experience?

Anything else that I should keep in mind during the interview process that helps me land better role/salary? TIA.

I have received an offer to work with another big 4 in London as manager with their consulting team starting June. The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant. So I have been made an offer by a company I like but it’s pretty similar to my current package (I also like where I am). The recruiter is pretty intense and is pitting me against another candidate but says I’m the number one choice and is asking me for a number to say yes “but not too high or the team will look at the other candidate”

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact).
