What I know is if i can be a manager at a regular office and yet have my own start up venture(s) on various other skills, it shouldn't ideally conflict but some HR do poke in between

Who the f actually enjoys design anymore.. 😩
The Town Hall referenced in this article legitimizes how I felt hanging out in Boystown. I never felt welcome being black and every time I was there, I was only sought after by people who fetishize black people. It’s not just at Roscoe either. It’s at Sidetrack, Berlin, and I refuse to step foot in the ironically named Progress bar after their “rap music ban”. We gays need to do better.

How does Wharton notify tomorrow?
Is it common to hold some sort of small 1-to-many crash course session on some topics? Is there even any demand for this? Like, would someone be into any basic tech skills or industry overviews? Or is this completely irrelevant within school realities?
And if there is demand, what people might be interested in? Non-tech options in tech? FAANG overview? Python/SQL 101? Teams structure? Wtf is machine learning? Etc
The reason I’m asking is because I’m definitely biased and it is hard for me to understand whether my experience is of any value for other people.
I would suggest reaching out to the tech club and the fintech club to see what sorts of resources exist and how you can supplement them! No need to reinvent the wheel but SUPER value add to share your knowledge and insights with peers looking to transition into tech.
Hi there! Incoming Wharton admit here.. it would be definitely useful, I am also looking to pivot to tech (or consulting - will explore both). Not sure about the best way but small group chat might be super useful - from these you could gather what people are looking for and then build a guide or cheat sheet that cover things like courses to take, skills to build, how to network and what FAANG look for - happy to discuss further if makes sense

I’m still waiting to see if I get into Wharton or not (round 2) but I would looove this. Can I join anyway even if I don’t make it lol
I think you could connect with Wharton’s Technology Club and become a leader to help your classmates in that way! I’m going to Wharton this fall as well and my partner is a data scientist in banking/tech industry and I’m pushing him to join the club and help my fellows by leveraging his background. Maybe we will come across at some point later this year! Feel free to dm me and I can connect you with my partner :)
