I’m a top performing rep at my current company.
Would anyone be open to giving me a referral at
Deel or Atlassian?

I’m specifically looking there but if there are other great remote opportunities out there I’d be open as well.

This job market is tough and I wanna cut through all the noise.

What’s your current company?
Industry or regional focus?
What do you sell?
Inside or outside?
B2C or B2B?
What does top performance mean to you?

Anybody that refers is putting their reputation on the line for you. You’ll need to provide more detail.

I mean atlassian is 2.5 months removed from a pretty decent layoff, so maybe not a move because that will not be a good selling environment.. especially if you’re a top performing rep at your current place

Lately I've struggled SO much with balancing taking care of myself and work. Seems like I can either get a bunch of stuff done and have a productive workday OR eat, get exercise and talk to other people during the day. Yesterday I didn't eat a single thing and just went to bed after work. It's miserable. How can I find a balance?

Fired after two weeks at a startup. Does anyone have any referrals? They lied and misrepresented the role throughout the entire hiring process. Upon me discovering I had an apparently different role, they didn’t like that I asked too many questions and fired me. Does anyone have any referrals. I have over 3 years of AE experience and generated over 300k of overall revenue in my previous role.

Hi everyone! I’m staring in an AE position to book demos with restaurants for their POS systems. How to prospect / have conversations and close the demos with them? I’m new to AE, used to be an interning SDR. Looking for tips and advice more towards the conversation factor. Thank you

Don’t assume that more likes and comments directly lead to sales. I’ve had posts with 20 likes that generated me more leads than a post with 100 likes.

Sales is a funny thing.

Big pipeline doesn’t mean more revenue.

Accurate pipeline does

Question for any/all who will answer. Long time individual contributor(12+ years) to a fortune 100 company. Past 7+ years have earned between 600k-800k /year after building out a GTM PE practice which currently does $30M+. Looking to take that framework and replicate for any startup or mid market company with direct GTM B2B looking to accelerate revenue. What’s a reasonable ask on equity vs earned income. Thinking 2-4% and 300-400k/ year. Thoughts?

Anyone heard anything or have some advice about someone breaking into tech sales with no degree? I have a family member that is really struggling to get by working retail and I’m trying to help him pivot into a career he is interested that I think will get him to a live-able wage if he’s patient. Any advice or point into potential companies would be greatly appreciated!

What are some “typical” career paths for Account Executives other than working up towards the largest enterprise AE roles. After being in sales for 6 years, I’m relatively naive to any other than “leadership” and wonder what other options to consider are out there. I’d even be open so some not so typical ones that people have enjoyed/found success in. Thanks in advance!

Is Account executive the goal once you become a BDR? What are the other paths that other people have taken?

Does anyone feel like the AEs crushing their numbers generally walk into a great account versus working really hard on prospecting? I’ve worked for Microsoft and Servicnow as a Strategic AE and I rarely saw the successful AEs (+200% attainment) doing any prospecting or needing BDR.

Hey all- I’m a L&D Professional with some sales experience. I want to jump into Sales L&D but many roles require sales experience. I’ve helped close complex sales for large scale project work but have never been held accountable to monthly revenue targets since it wasnt my primary role with the exception of a brief time spent as an SDR. Looking for input if I should just go for Sales L&D positions or start as an AE and then apply for Sales L&D. Currently have interview for AE role with Gartner.

Question: how much money can be made in Tech sales by someone with a top 3 business school MBA and 12 years of non-sales experience? I've worked for some big names, but in Ops & Finance mainly. My base is $75K w/ an OTE of $60K and my opportunity cost was a finance role at a FAANG company making ~$135K base plus $40K stock. Trying to decide if I made the right decision
