I’m a total lard ass after WFH for almost 2 years and I’m starting a new job that’s mostly in person. None of my cute work clothes fit to boot so I have to figure out what I’m going to wear while working on losing the weight. Great.

At this rate, they might have to knock down a wall to get me out of this house.

Up 25lbs since February 2020. You’re not alone.

Me too. Like if most people gained the Covid 15, my overachieving ass had to gain closer to 35. Edited to say that it is probably closer to 45 if I am being honest.

Your new work colleagues won't know the less-chunky you so won't be able to compare. As you trim up, you'll soon be able to fit in your cute work clothes!

It seems we’re all in the same boat (I want off this boat! Lol.). Any ideas for slimming/flattering outfits that lean towards “smart casual?” I work in NYC if that matters.

Anyone else had to deal with construction next door? I get the daily jackhammers while trying to work from home and not using our backyard due to noise/dust. But every time they infringe on our property, the response is hostile. Broke our front fence from pulling on it, stand on our back fence until it shakes, and today dropped something on our roof. Each time they act offended when asked about it. 3x had drug addicts using on the site since it’s left unsecured, and they still won’t secure it.

Does anyone have any experience with the relocation clawback provision recently? I took the payout option and have been preparing to move, but just found out I was approved for permanent remote work. I am grateful for the option, but still plan on eventually moving to the Bay area and if given the choice not until after a year or more. For employees who eventually did not end up moving within the year (but were still with Google) did the clawback provision still get exercised?

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right question but I’d like to be fitter. I’m 230lb and 5’8 so it’s really bad. Because of covid I haven’t gone to the gym, I have 2 weights at home. Any recommendations on workouts from home? Running or jogging hurts like hell so I’ve been trying to walk at least 5 miles per day, some push-ups and sit-ups. I have watched a few videos online as well. Thank you guys
