I’ve been a data analyst for a little over a year for my current employer. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL. I’m currently enrolled in Coursera Google Data Analytics Certification to learn more about SQL.

Need opinions! Was having a hard time jumping from ER to Corp Dev (despite 10+ years experience and an MBA), so I took a hybrid FP&A role doing the modeling for a Corp Dev team in industry. Actually getting some deal experience as well, but that’s mainly just the modeling. I’m worried I won’t be able to move to a director position unless I can take a bigger role on deals. Preliminary thinking is that story will matter the most and test scores are probably fine. I’ve heard arguments that 330 GRE is not enough to stand out as an ORM, and 3 YOE is too low to show clear leadership trajectory. Any advice?

How well does Tepper place graduates in consulting?
I’m at a T2 firm and could potentially rely on Tepper (with scholarship, ideally) to pivot into tech, and I’m also looking for opportunities at MBB.
The 2020 employment report shows that 1/3 of graduates went into consulting, and that the median base is 160 (so mainly Big 4 I guess), but does anyone know roughly what proportion of them went to MBB/T2?
