I’m a young professional and have been working with a due diligence firm for close to 2 years now and learned from friends in the industry that I’m not making what I should be even though I was promoted earlier this year. I asked my boss for a raise in salary outside of the review period which was denied because of “fairness” which I find is bs but not entirely sure?

I have 3.6 years of good experience in data science domain and have 6 offers in hand. My target is to reach 20CTC. The maximum offer I have is of 18 CTC.
None of the company is ready to go above 18. TCS, Accenture and couple of other companies are not even matching their offer to 18 CTC.
Can any one give their valuable suggestions on how to jump to 20CTC.

I want to ask for a 20%raise, knowing that the company is planning the year budget around now should I give my manager a heads up as to what I’m expecting before my salary review? I got a 0.6% raise at the start of 2020 and a 4% in April this year. The raise this year came with the title of “Lead” and more work responsibilities, talking with a co-worker we now make about the same amount. I started working here right out of college (10 years).

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.

Over 20 plus years with this company my base pay has gone up every couple of years. The biggest growth in my salary has come as a "Bonus pd 1x/yr" which now is over 50% of my cash compensation. Been with my current employer for 10 years. Secure position, secure company. Want to move out of state, so starting over at a new company and that brings uncertainty.
