I disagree. If you had an ASC 740 background, you can make a case.
Unless you’re working in M&A tax where there is a lot more “managerial accounting” done with estimates, planning, and market research. Sorry, but no unless you want to lose that “manager level position”. Your best bet would be to take an accounting and tax role and after showing your skills for a year or so, as to work on some FP&A stuff.. might work, might not.
PwC 1 I hear not so the same for lower levels. I’ve done some poking around myself and heard as a first year senior Imd likely go in as a final year analyst, so basically lose 1 year off of 3-4 yrs experience
