some of us have legitimate ADD sooooo it's a bit hard to "deal" without our PRESCRIBED medications
When my money starts making substantial amounts of money, then I'll deal
hey PwC , maybe stick to consulting and leave the medical diagnosis for someone who went to medical school
Damn shit escalated quickly here
^ what a small minded view. So high performing children with ADD were able to push through because they dealt well with distraction? Doesn't sound like ADD to me
@OP do you mean deal drugs? Because that's illegal
Deloitte 1 gets it. "Grow up!" "Deal!" Fuck you.
@pwc - that's like saying diabetics should just deal with high blood sugar like the rest of us normal people do.
As a non-user I'm actually quite curious. Any anecdotal guidance from current/ex-users?
Some people genuinely have ADD and some people come to believe they have ADD because they are prescribed
yeah I'm kinda surprised anybody in top consulting legitimately has diagnosed ADD or ADHD. growing up top performers weren't diagnosed because we dealt with being distracted
I'm just generally distrustful of doctors who prescribe ADD meds for a gazillion different reasons including "I just wish I were more productive"
@6 then you do not have ADD.
You can't make me!
Diabetic here. I deal with high blood sugar by giving insulin. Then I don't have high blood sugar.
And trust me, that occurs
I learned what ADHD after I tried adderrall being a foreigner. Personally a cup of coffee has the same effect on me
