Same situation - same class year, similarly niche group, similar offers (including a lateral partnership opportunity) and same feelings about my group. I just accepted a DGC role. Lateraling to partnership seemed too risky and was a big conflicts issue. I like at several AGC opportunities, but none were enough to motivate me to leave. I’m glad I waited because this DGC opportunity is perfect and made the decision very easy.
Based on what you’ve said here, I’m wondering if you should hold off moving until you find something you’re more excited about? I absolutely know what it’s like to sort of feel like the clock is running and you need to do something, but there’s really no reason to rush out the door.
If they already told you there may not be room for partnership where you are then I’d say jump ship now while the market is hot.

It depends on what you value, I suppose. Job stability (and dare I say complacency?) vs. meaningful personal/professional growth? Where do you ultimately want to be 5-10 years down the road? Grass is not always greener of course so you’ll have to weigh the pros and cons.

Agree with A4, sounds like you’re in a good spot where maybe it’s not forever but you like it and could do several more years, maybe just keep looking till something excites you more? What’s holding you back from your current opportunities that you would be looking for?
Lateral if you want money; go AGC if you want to take it easy.
