Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Tell all of your rep friends and production company friends or connections that you’re looking for opportunities on the production company side. They’re the connectors and will be able to let you know if they hear of anything or connect you to folks who might be looking. Producers at production companies often are technically freelance - so you’re likely looking at making that jump. If you’re aiming to be a Line Producer you’ll want to look for PA or other assistant production gigs under a strong Production Manager or Line Producer and work up from there. If you’re aiming for more administrative production work you can target assistant roles at the actual production companies but you will likely be further from the making.
It’s kosher sure. If you want them to be discrete then be up front about that. But if you’re looking for a production job that is more on the post, or animation and vfx, or digital production side that’s a slightly different story, yes. Some are freelance but many are staff. You can still talk to rep friends about that and make your desires to explore that clear. Do you work with any of those companies you’d be interested in? Find a moment to be candid with the EP you’re talking with as the job wraps up. Ask for an informational conversation with them, etc.
Are you prepared to start at the bottom as a PA? Or how much coordinating and production managing experience do you have. Because being a leader line producer requires serious production experience. As you know, these two producer titles are in noway interchangeable.
i was a freelance PA/coordinator/producer and even produce/do my own shoots for more than 3 years working on various sets/shoots/studio/location before i decided i wanted to “move up” so I pivoted as an agency producer. now that i am an agency producer, i feel so detached from the actual work. would i want to start at the bottom again? probably not but maybe somewhere in the middle given i’ve already done it before hence the question, “how do I position myself”.
