Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global
What are your opinions about potential big4 layoffs in m&a tax? Campus hiring starting next year so I don’t have a good idea of what people are thinking at the firm. I know m&a is typically not where you want to be in a recession so I’m curious about job security starting next year. Any insights/opinions would be appreciated. EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

Normally I don't advocate for MBA but since you're Mckinsey, you'll probably get into a top school and it'll actually add value for you. Some value points:
- free MBA (firm sponsorship)
- build your network
- 2 years away from the corporate grind
- long term career acceleration
@C1 ahh that's not ideal. Anyway to negotiate sponsorship? Still given your background, I would assume youd land some type of scholarship with T10 and maybe partial with M7s. Then it's up to you personal goals which school to attend.
I would recommend going through with the MBA process, see what schools and scholarships you land and then assess.
If you're sponsored, then it's an awesome opportunity to relax and unwind.
any idea why their policy is as such?:(
This is a really good question but I think the answer is fairly easy. I’m not sure how old you are and I’m assuming you entered as a BA and made Associate?
I would stay at McK. Make Associate Partner and pivot to a professional sports organization. Very doable. But I don’t think it makes sense to leave McKinsey at the stage you’re at, especially if you’ll come right back post mba.
What doors would an MBA open for you at your level that the McKinsey name won’t?
Part time mba is also an option although not sure if you will have time for it cuz of mck

Post-MBA you’ll come back to Associate level anyway. And you are not sponsored. So opportunity cost + tuition is high for the same goal. May as well just stay in McK and try to get on sports industry projects.
