I’m an associate in wealth management. I didn’t get a compensation increase when I got this position (moved from a different department 65k) and today I had the weirdest call with one of the higher ups. He essentially told me my title had changed officially in HR ok thanks bye… and I was left there like ????? What about the salary adjustment? I am so tired of getting taken advantage of because I’m not a negotiator guru. If you work in wealth management as an associate what is your salary?

i went in with the mentality of exiting into p/e. i know it’s a bit of time before i’ll have anything meaningful to talk about in p/e interviews.

Does anyone ever think about how ridiculous the price of hajj is? I understand that some of it supports infrastructure costs and some goes directly towards accommodations and food, but even considering this, the prices are ridiculous.
