Hello! Is anyone working at Spotify or HubSpot within product/project management that would be willing to connect for a virtual coffee chat?
I’m a recent grad and currently working in tech/product development. I have been interested in growing my career at either of these companies and would be grateful to gain insight on day-to-day and steps you took to successfully break in.
I know this might be a big ask here, but it’s been difficult trying to land one on LinkedIn. Thanks in advance

Don’t try to do product at KPMG. But LinkedIn Learning will be a great start to learn about product management
The goal is to ultimately end up in a role where I develop consumer healthcare products throughout the product lifecycle. I want to understand the skills and certifications I can develop to align with said goals
I’m taking the “Become a Product Management | Learn the Skills & Get the Job” course from Udemy. It’s very helpful and I’m enjoying the course but I don’t know yet if it’ll increase my chances of breaking into PM.
This list is not exhaustive but this is from personal experience or shared experience from one of my team members. Ranked from more fundamental to advanced:
Udemy/Linkedin (fundamentals)
PMHQ courses (fundamentals - one week PM and Tech PM - I'd start here as both are less expensive but rich with transferable content and at your own pace)
Product School (fundamentals - pretty expensive for the level of quality but still check it out - live training)
Udacity Product Manager nanodegree (advanced fundamentals, formal training, real-world application, some live courses)
AIPMM / 280 Group (very advanced fundamentals, training and certificate program for digital PMs with self-paced and live training)
Product Faculty (more advanced but don't know much about them - maybe for later)
OneMonthPM (advanced across all PM dimensions - maybe for later)
Reforge (very advanced across all PM dimensions - maybe for later)
Good advice!
There was a free beginners Google course I heard some friends took and said it worked for them. Also definitely let your recruiters know about your background to set you apart from other applicants.
