I’m an audit supervisor in LA area with 6 yrs experience. Not big four~Just got a raise to 105k. Just wondering whether I’m under paid and what should be the typical pay range.

Would you mind sharing manager 1 salary range?

I also live in LA, working as a second year staff and get paid 95k

Would you mind sharing manager 1 salary range?

Damn 105k 6 yrs, sounds like RSM lol I think that’s the average for RSM lol go to big 4

Coming from RSM myself I thought the same haha

Im not sure you’re ever gonna make money in audit. I work in FDD in the south and make 100k as an S1

You could be making 120 FDD pwc

funny

Dm for BDO referral. Experienced senior in LA probably makes 120k.

If you were in internal audit with 6 years, you’d be manager and making 150

Dm me for crowe. Former rsmer like you. Lets get you more money

I have the same background and experience as you but living TX and I'm also currently making 105.

I made 100 as a second year manager in 2014 in Milwaukee.

Seeking advice on leveraging an offer from another company at my current company without having it blow up. I am overdue for a significant raise and am well respected by my management and peers. I don’t want a target on my back at my current company, or to burn a bridge with the offering company. Any advice? Does this ever go well? (I am currently FT, my company info isn’t up to date here).

So I’ve been with FAANG for 5 years (I’m 30 y/o). I’m pretty comfortable with my situation. Got average grades at a good undergrad university, total comp ~300k. I’m debating Ivy League MBA. I don’t think it’ll benefit me at FAANG, but I’d like to start a company eventually. Worth it?

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?
