How can college better prepare education majors for the realities of the classroom?

Just received a text from a team member stating two missionaries that traveled through Tokyo were in my classroom teaching (private school). Said they hired a company to deep clean tonight. Thoughts?

I need to revamp my intervention plan for foul language in the classroom. I can’t believe what these middle schoolers are saying and how little admin. does about it.

Any suggestions for classroom management? I push in and pull out - when I push in to the classroom the kids are well behaved.. it’s when I pull them out is when they start to get all silly!

I’m new at working in a school and a lot of the other staff advise me not to be too nice to students but I’m overall generally pretty nice. Any tips? Im not okay with giving kids attitude at 7:50 because they’re late (as other staff do)

Keep the high school kids 9-12 at home to do DL. Although kids with special ed services need to be ina classroom. All k-8 need to be at school with half numbers in each class. How can we do this? Have all admin,counselors and many elective teachers.... which wouldn’t be really needed at this time... music, pe, dance, band etc from all grade levels to team teach a bunch of younger kids. Still not seeing location in the post window when turning it off.

I usually join a meeting saying "hey guys".. I've always done this.. the other day someone in the call pointed out that not everyone in the meeting were male.. I was slightly taken aback .
