Agree 100% with this. Depends on specialty, vertical, etc. 240 seems like a high end for a manager in a TC world. Industry you might need to shoot a bit higher to get equal pay. Depending on the company Director is not going to command a lot unless your talking FANG

I just took a director position and the total comp was about $340k. The AD positions I looked that were about $270-280k. So you probably don't even need to get full director to hit your comp goal.
