I'm an experienced hire analyst that recently got promoted. There are consultants at my firm making 20-25k more than I am. I don't expect that my raise will be that much. Any tips on negotiating?

Any experience in selling common shares during a new round of investment? To new investors or through secondary market?

I helped a friend launch a business and raise seed funding. I ultimately didnt choose to do it full time for a few reasons, but theyve received some attractive term sheets for Series A (some from notable VCs).

My friend (founder/CEO) had mentioned a potential opportunity to "take $ off the table."

What should I be thinking about?

Just received an offer @JPMC in DE for a 603 in FP&A (CCB).

TC: 175k
YOE: 8

Is this above the average or am I selling myself short taking this?

EXL Services (Manager - C1 band)
Fixed 27 lpa + 12% variable +
1.5 lpa practice premium (to be added to fixed part but not counted during appraisals or performance bonus calculation) +
4 lacs deferred bonus (to be paid out after completing 6 months)

EY GDS (Associate Manager - Rank 42)
Fixed 28 lpa + 10% variable

Currently an LSA at Deloitte USI Advisory with 7.5 YOE and 20 lpa fixed

Please help me compare all aspects of both orgs (not just salary)

I tried the cost of living calc on nerdwallet and according to that my pre-tax take home of $180k in NJ is equivalent to $380k in Manhattan. If I’m looking at a Director role in the $220-$280 range base, am I taking $100k cut or is the calculator off?
