I’m an HR Generalist. My job is a mix of recruitment and Employee Relations. I find the recruitment aspect to be pretty enjoyable and stress free, but the Employee Relations aspect does often give me a lot of anxiety (I’m a very anxious person to begin with). Recently, it’s been worse because I have several ER cases currently that seem like they could be potentially turning into lawsuits. Do others in ER experience these anxieties? If so, how do you manage them?

I've been working for going on 2.5 years now in adtech on a very well regarded team at a Top 3 media holding group, and have only had 1 raise due to company promotion freezes during covid. While I started this job right out of college, I'm finding myself continually frustrated at my pay....$60k in NYC. Advice for transitioning from Talent COE to HRBP?

I have spent my career in Talent COE (L&D, Culture, Change Management) and I am looking for HR business partner experience. I have a few Informationals lined up with HRBP hiring managers at my current org. What are good questions to ask? Any tips to demonstrate that I am ready/can transition into an HRBP role?
