Anyone work at Coinbase willing to refer me?
KPMG friends, reach out to someone at GT if you’ve been let go. Officially on a hiring freeze but chances are we’ll take you if it’s the right move. Can’t hurt to ask.
For those who have gone top tier LS boutique to MBB, what have been the pros/cons? Does anyone regret the transition?
Slated for a promotion at work mid next year. Thinking of requesting a deferral at a school I was admitted to for this and other personal reasons - would schools likely see the potential promotion as a good enough reason to grant a deferral?
I am currently studying to be an Art Director but recently discovered my love and passion for typography and hand lettering. Would it be confusing for an AD to submit a portfolio with a decent amount of letterforms in addition to full campaigns and other AD work? Would it be beneficial to make a separate portfolio/Instagram solely for the type work?
Do you respond to thank you emails?
I'm 18 weeks pregnant and have been so nervous telling my manager/director the news (was planning on telling them in January). Our raises/bonuses are determined in February, and paid out in March, and scared they will screw me over once they find out. Has this happened to anyone?
Got a text of a change in case status, I was super excited then apparently the update was just ‘Name was updated’ lol any insight on what this means, other than the literal meaning of course lol

Has anyone researched the company on LinkedIn & reached out to HR re: their desired job posting? If so, what was the outcome? Is this a recommended way to make contact/take initiative?
I’m a cci edit coder. I currently have the RHIA registered health information administrator. I been thinking of studying for CCS certified coding specialist exam. But none of the jobs I’m interested in require CCS. They want someone that is familiar with data using excel tableau etc I know these things but I have not worked in a role. I guess my question is should I past this CCS exam then focus on trying to get experience as a data analysts or forget about the CCS?
Registered dental assistant in Texas, I am looking for more information on pay and benefits through an orthodontics office. Currently I am making a very low hourly wage (just over minimum wage) with a monthly bonus that fluctuates a lot. In the past year the bonus has ranged from $900-$2400 after taxes. We get no health benefits however we do receive orthodontic treatment at no cost. Is this common for Texas orthodontic offices?
Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?
Being a respiratory therapist for 9 years and having critical and acute care experience , doing pulmonary function tests and working independently in emergency care, what do you think my pay should be at this point?
How can someone transition from a pharmacy tech to another career in healthcare technology ? I feel like I’m unmarketable because the first thing employers see is “pharmacy tech”. Meanwhile I’m in school for masters of public health.
Can we talk about the logic behind paying $2400 a week for a travel nurse but being unwilling to even give your staff nurses annual cost of living raises? Maybe if you’d pay your staff nurses well you wouldn’t have to spend $2400+ on a travel nurse.
Anyone in here have a hospital job for a unit secretary position? How much does it pay in California? Any help is greatly appreciated
Hello, patient services representative here. I had moved hospital patient registration to the clinic so I can get benefits. I took a $6 dollar pay cut although I do work from home. I’m pretty knowledgeable on insurance and have a good understanding of how things work. I get paid about $21/hr and it’s just not enough money. I making ends meet working 80 hours a week. Im currently going to school full time and would like some input on what I should do.
I hope all of you are doing well! I am a graduate of Rutgers University where I received my both my bachelor’s in Public Health and my Master’s in Health Administration. At the moment, I am living and working in New York. I’m currently exploring new job opportunities so feel free to message me.
I’ve been helping couples navigate the challenges of infertility for over 20 years now. Recently, I’ve noticed more couples feeling apprehensive to continue treatment because they are worried about potential repercussions if they miscarry during the IVF process. Honestly, I’m not sure how to reassure them because I also feel afraid, but I just want to continue supporting these wonderful couples & families. I would be heartbroken if they ended up suffering more because of their treatments. I’m just feeling so conflicted & sad today after meeting with a couple who decided to postpone treatment.
Is it tacky to put every degree and certificate you hold in your signature line of emails?
Anyone work in clinical research?
Any Certified Revenue Cycle Representatives (CRCRs) here? What did your career path look like? What do you like about revenue cycle work? Looking into this role and would love to hear more from others in the space.
Can anyone answer what it’s like to be a nurse working for Montifiore hospital at the Wakefield location? I went on an interview and was offered the job. The interviewers didn’t seem very warm or welcoming.
I'm a nurse manager for a large hospital with 10 YOE in nursing, but I'm starting to second guess my decision to go into leadership. Has anyone else left nurse management and pivoted to NP? I'm not crazy about the idea of going back to school for a third degree, but at the same time I'm turning 55 and I'm ready to leave the high-stress hospital setting for a nice small outpatient office. I'm considering focusing on Psychiatry. Thoughts?
I've been following the Supreme Court mess all weekend, and it makes me not want to live in the US anymore. I was raised in a very conservative household and, as a mom, the idea of avoidable abortions makes me incredibly sad. But at the same time, how can people not recognize that eliminating legal abortions is just going to increase maternal mortality rates???
What city do you practice in? How many years of experience? Current salary? What setting do you practice in? What are the differences in pay between different settings in your area (ie. outpatient ortho versus home care).
Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.
