And then you’ll be tired from either staying up late to catch up or not sleeping because you’re too anxious, which will compound the problem because sleep deprivation makes both anxiety and focus issues worse.

Not helpful, I know, but I’m too familiar with the cycle...

Have you tried exercise? 20 minutes are hard exercise can do wonders. Also mediciation.

Been struggling with my ADHD/depression more over the past few weeks than ever before. I am at a serious risk of losing my job for failure to meet billables and I can’t bring myself to fix the problem. I was excited to cut cost and save but my townhouse HOA fees will be increasing significantly in 2022 (60%) to cover some land repairs in the community. We got this house in Dec last year. Did see mentions of land/wall repairs in the HOA document but was told by the agent that it’s extremely uncommon for the fees to increase by even 5%. The HOA tried passing this plan last year but couldn’t collect enough votes to proceed. This time around, the homeowners close to the land/wall are lobbing to ..

Anyone else use work as their escape? People complain about not having work life balance but I only stay for the long hours. I've battled with depression and anxiety for the last decade because I got married and started a family too young. I find myself questioning my existence daily now. I think about what it would be like to just no longer exist - and what a relief it might be instead of just seeing wallowing in misery all of the time. Does anyone here struggle with basic things at work? For example, being on time.
