Deloitte fishes - I’m new to Deloitte and enrolling in benefits and having a hard time determining if I go with one of the PPO or HDHP plans. Despite having to go through IVF we’re healthy and rarely go to the doctor but I know with IVF and a possible pregnancy that could all change. Would love feedback on what has been helpful - HDHP is what I’m leaning towards!Deloitte

Up to you, if you think you have the resume and intangibles to succeed in the position without any sort of revealing, then keep it to yourself. It's only others' business if you want it to be. Good luck with the hiring process!
You don't have to if it's not something you're comfortable with disclosing. I'm sure you'll be able to go far enough without exposing it too soon. If it ever comes up in the future that it'll help for them to be aware of it then do it, but it's not necessary as of now. I hope you get in and find yourself in an understanding environment.
I disclosed to my employer because I wanted to be protected if anything happened e.g. discrimination, but I would probably only do so if I was confident the company had an open and compassionate culture.
Progressive won a 2022 award for open and compassionate work culture. I do have a service dog and its a remote job so its unlikely to be an issue in my opinion, but, if I did need to go over night to a training or meeting it could pose a challenge if I was unable to take him. I need him to be federally protected by ada if they believe are okay with him being a reasonable accommodation if I ever need to be in person for anything so I feel like I need to disclose it but I know I will probably be denied the job if I do.
Hi there! Only if you're comfortable. Many don't disclose only because they don't feel the need to do so.
I personally have been leaving it undisclosed, I only bring it up when I think there's a risk of it affecting performance
I have wondered the same thing. I asked a separate q on Fishbowl if disclosing affected job applications, but I do not have a lot of feedback on it yet.
I disclosed part of my health history at work only after I knew it would affect attendance, but I am also not an hourly worker. So I work around medical appts the best I can, working late and weekends when needed. It's tough doing chemo and trying to work when you're trying not to get sick to one's stomach, but I don't share that except with colleagues with whom I am close.
Hopefully you can get some terrific feedback and perf reviews before disclosing. If for any reason, your perf was graded poorly without cause after disclosing, then you would have documentation / a timeline -- which most savvy managers would know and avoid that pitfall. Although, some managers are not as PC and will ask inappropriate questions; steady yourself for that.
Also, I rarely say "PTSD" because a lot of people use that term for anything remotely stressful. Instead, I will use terms that people understand, like worry, dread or anxiety. That creates more understand and less stigma.
