I’m at a new job when we can use personal cards for our corporate expenses and I’m interested in raking in the points. Suggestions on cards with the best perks?? I don’t mind paying a fee if needed.

Welcome to Accenture! 😆 As others have said, CSR is the way to go

Seconding CSR

like

*Chase Sapphire Reserve

like

Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex Platinum

like

Amex Plat and Amex gold. Charge all your flights on the Plat (5x) and dining on gold (2x). Get the Amex SPG card (or Chase Marriott card) for hotel stays. If you care about travel insurance or all that stuff... Then ignore all the above and get CSR, like others have said. But I honestly can't remember last time I needed travel insurance. I find Amex way more valuable with the delta lounge acesss, $200 back in Uber credits (if you use Uber monthly for personal trips), $100 back at Sacks 5th Ave, and all the other Amex offers that come and go.

P1, OP can't charge his flights to his CC. CSR will definitely get him better value

like

If no flights, the get CSR 💯

like

CSR > Amex platinum (I have both)

like

CSR and Amex platinum are good but you should also have an airline and a hotel company in mind. Try to stick with one. I did both AA and United my first year and I would have been Executive Platinum if I just stuck with AA. Instead I was just platinum with both. As for the CC, once you pick your hotel and airline, get their cards

like

CSR and Amex Platinum. Yes it's $1000 in fees combine but will get far more than $1000 in value per year if you use correctly. Just the travel benefits give you $700 alone. May want to get one more card specific to a travel brand you use a lot, like Marriott/SPG etc. Also CSR + Freedom + Freedom Unlimited is a great way to earn more points without having more annual fees.

Wow - okay, Chase Sapphire Is clearly the way to go...unless others have other suggestions

Thanks friends!

So Accenture gives you the option to use your personal card? How long does it take to get reimbursed?

Expenses go through twice a month - expenses come through about a week after that

*meant to say reimbursement comes through about a week after that

Uber Visa

You are missing the point though, I’m already committed to Marriott right now. For a couple of reasons. And that being said, CSR will only give me 3 Marriott points per dollar spent. That point estimation system you are using doesn’t get you more Marriott points than using a Marriott card at a Marriott property. It doesn’t matter unless you are going to transfer them to one of the other companies like for example Korean Air. But in that case you should check in to Korean Air card probably.

I agree though if you u aren’t totally committed to a hotel brand then the CSR is the way to go.
