I’m at a Publicis agency and I want to apply to a different Publicis-owned agency. This requires that I go to my HR person and say “hey I want to apply for a job at a different agency under our holding company.” Is there a way to do this that isn’t awkward or setting myself up for a future firing? Feels like I’m putting too much trust in HR here.

Actually Publicis is known for moving people around within as long as that person is wanted. I would approach HR without any doubts.

Creatives within the Groupe have come to my agency. But it’s because they were poached by my CCOs. Maybe reach out to the agency you want to work at and figure out a plan with them. That way they vouch for you and you could have a job lined up.

The agency I’m applying to knows. The recruiter passed my info along just to see if there’s interest, so I wasn’t doing this HR thing for nothing. The process, however, is this other agency can’t poach you. So you first have to let HR know. Then they can officially interview you.

Wait until there’s actual interest to have the conversation. There’s a possibility HR might tell your manager. Because their job isn’t to protect you.

See if they will give you an informational interview. Believe you can have one or two before going the formal interviewing route

My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

Working with an (external) headhunter for a role, and just found out they want me to proceed to the second round of interviews. I had told the headhunter after the first round that I was interested in moving forward (although I did express some concerns I had) but after thinking about it, I’ve decided I’m not interested in the role. Does it look bad to go back on my word and drop out of the process now?

Talking to a guy I met a while ago. Only have hung out once before to hook up. A year later he makes a reappearance. I’m taking it slow bc covid and bc I don’t want a one timer w him again. We did a couple FaceTime calls then went for a walk. He texted tonight asking to come over for wine. I jokingly asked if he was sure bc I didn’t see him for a year last time we did that. Dodged it this time, but how do you ladies hold off on sex? Not looking to have a sit down talk tho
